I didn't have trouble getting inJan 06 2014PreMed and Medical
I didn't have trouble getting in. It was the last school I applied to (in February, maybe?) so I turned my application in quite late in comparison to my other applications. It was the smoothest and most organized application out of all six schools I applied to (Penn State, Hofstra, etc) and I heard back in about two weeks. I think that was a big factor in me deciding to go here.

Getting harder and harder every year...I know a lot of people who didn't get in so don't assume you will be accepted.

Temple is one of the tougher public universities inJun 21 2012Other
Temple is one of the tougher public universities in PA to get into, but if you have at least a B average, there's nothing to worry about. If you want to be considered for a merit scholarship ($5,000 each year!), aim for at least an A- average. And don't be discouraged if you apply in August, and come February, Temple has not sent their decision. They are as slow as molasses. Call persistantly until they give you a response. In terms of Honors admission: get a 3.85, and show interest by scheduling an Honors shadow day. I know many people who should have gotten in, but didn't, and sometimes it's just a matter of calling them to make sure they're reviewing your information.
